About Our Founder
Rose Figueroa, PhD, CHFP

Trailblazing the path for the past decade, Dr. Rose Figueroa serves as a consultant and industry expert, as well as motivational speaker, content creator, keynote speaker, and workshop facilitator. She has collaborated with a wide range of organizations, including startups, Universities, Fortune 100 companies, and non-profits. She leverages her extensive education and expertise in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors/Ergonomics, and Biomechanics, as well as her firsthand life experiences as a Hispanic female with a disability. ​
She has served on several boards, committees, and advisory councils, including for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Human Factors & Ergonomics Society, Women of Color in the Workplace, and Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics.
For more than 15 years, Dr. Figueroa has been an active mentor to numerous students and early-career professionals and has led multiple philanthropic initiatives, including statewide relief efforts. She has collaborated and organized multiple national events and programs, as well as social media B2B and brand collaborations. Her philanthropic work has been featured in the media on networks such as NPR and NBC Latino.

​Dr. Figueroa is a Certified Human Factors Professional with a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez and an MSE and Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.
